MARINER'S INN NORTH

General Information for Rental

1. FOOD

All food items must be supplied and prepared by Cincinnati Catering. Menu selections, room requirements and all

other arrangements must be received two weeks prior to your function. These menus are suggested for your

consideration, and if you prefer, our culinary staff will be pleased to tailor a menu to your desire.

2. BEVERAGE

Mariner’s Inn North, as a licensee, is responsible for the administration of the sale and service of alcoholic

beverages in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the State of Ohio. It is our policy, therefore,

that all liquor, wine, beer and all other beverages must be supplied by Mariner’s Inn North. All alcohol sales will

end 30 minutes prior to event end time.

3. GUARANTEE

It is a requirement that Mariner’s Inn North be notified of the exact number of guests two weeks prior to your event.

This minimum number of quests will be considered a guarantee for which you will be charged, even if fewer guests

actually attend. Mariner’s Inn North typically prepares food for a few more guests than those that were guaranteed in

order to ensure that all of your guests are properly served. Final payment will be due at this time. There is a

minimum guarantee for Saturday Night Rentals.

4. ROOM RENTAL

The charge for the rental of Mariner’s Inn North is included in the package cost per person of your function.

5. CANCELATION

All payments are non-refundable unless the event date is re-booked for same or greater value after cancellation.

6. LIABILITY

Mariner’s Inn North reserves the right to inspect and control all parties and functions. Liability for damages to the

premises will be charged accordingly. Mariner’s Inn North cannot assume responsibility for personal property and

equipment brought into the facility by you or your guests.

7. PAYMENT SCHEDULE

A $500.00 deposit is required with contract signing. $2000.00 due180 days prior to the event date (6 months).

Payment options include credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover with 4 % service charge),

personal checks and cash.

8. SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX

There is a 17% service charge and a 6.25% sales tax charge applied to all food and beverage prices. Service charge

is subject to sales tax in the state of Ohio.

9. SPECIAL MENU REQUESTS

Our professional expertise enables us to custom tailor menus to your specific needs. We look forward to assisting

you and making your special event a memorable one.

10. OVERTIME CHARGES

Should the scheduled event exceed four hours, an additional charge of $500.00 per hour will be accessed.

11. BOOKING INFORMATION

There is a minimum guarantee for Saturday Night Rentals. In order to reserve a Saturday, a $500.00 non-refundable

deposit is required with a signed contract. Dates will not be held without these two items.

When booking an event date over a year in advance, you may be subject to a maximum 5% increase.

Mariner’s Inn North reserves the right to schedule multiple events for both the afternoon and evening sessions in the

same day. Under such circumstances, access to the halls may be limited for viewing and set up. The on-site manager

will coordinate set up and delivery appointments

Discounts are available for Sunday thru Friday rentals. Please discuss this with the manager.

A service fee of $50.00 will be charged for any returned checks.
